About the Role
The Accounts Messenger at the National Forensics Agency (NFA) supports the Accounts/Finance section with secure, on-time movement of financial documents and records. As Accounts Messenger, you’ll handle deliveries to AGPR, banks, vendors, ministries/divisions, keep an auditable movement log, and assist with basic reconciliation support so payments and filings stay on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver & collect bills, cheques, invoices, bank instruments, and financial files between Accounts, AGPR, banks, vendors, and relevant offices.
- Maintain a daily movement register/logbook for all dispatched/received documents with timestamps and acknowledgements.
- Assist Accounts with bank statement pickups, stamping, inward/outward registers, and basic reconciliation follow-ups.
- Ensure document security & confidentiality, proper packaging, and chain-of-custody compliance.
- Plan efficient routes; keep motorcycle documents current; follow safety rules.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: Middle Pass.
- Experience: 12+ years hands-on in a Public Forensic Lab, including 8+ years supporting an Accounts section.
- Licenses: Valid motorcycle license (must be kept current).
- Knowledge: Familiar with accounts reconciliation, bank statements, and government correspondence norms.
- Attributes: Reliability, integrity, time management, and clear communication.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 50 years (general relaxation as per Federal Government rules).
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary (gross): PKR 55,000 – 80,000, commensurate with experience and applicable rules.
- Contract appointment on merit; benefits as per Government policy.
Location
Primary duty station: H-11/4, Islamabad (44000)
Field movement to AGPR, banks, and vendor/ministerial offices within Islamabad/Rawalpindi as required.
