Are you ready to take the next step in your clinical training? PGMI-KP invites applications for FCPS-II (First & Second Fellowship) induction for the January 2026 session. This intake is designed for motivated doctors seeking structured training at CPSP-accredited institutions across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and selected affiliated centers.
Who can apply
- First Fellowship: Doctors with KP domicile who have passed FCPS-I on or before 15-10-2025.
- Second Fellowship: Eligible FCPS holders applying for sub-specialty training (see documentation requirements below).
Training is offered at PGMI’s network of affiliated teaching institutions including (but not limited to): MTI LRH, MTI KTH/KMC, MTI HMC/KGMC/AKD, MTI ATH/ACD, MTI MMC, MTI BKCD, MTI GMC, MTI QHAMC, MTI BKMC, MTI KCD, MTI PIC, STH/SCD, DHQTH/KIDS/LMH Kohat, BMC-affiliated hospitals, all CMHs of KP, AFPGMI Rawalpindi, and private sector partners such as NWGH, RMI, PMC, AIMC, WMDC/RMDC, Watim MDC, and SBDC.
Enrollment will be made strictly against available stipendiary and supervisory slots.

Merit lists, seat allocation, and the Choices/Preferences portal (which opens after final merit list) will be announced on PGMI’s website and Facebook page only. Any amendments/corrigenda will be posted exclusively on the official website.
How to apply (read carefully)
- Apply online only via www.pgmi.edu.pk within the above dates.
- Application processing fee: Rs. 5,000 (non-refundable & non-transferable) per application. Multiple payments for the same application will not be refunded.
- No late submissions. Incomplete applications or errors may be corrected after paying a correction fee of Rs. 2,500.
- Upload requirements: Clear, scanned copies of original documents (not photocopies). Fake/forged documents, concealment, or misrepresentation will lead to immediate termination of training, reporting to CPSP/PMC/PMDC, debarment from future PGMI inductions, and stipend recovery (if applicable).
- Responsibility: Applicants are solely responsible for correct entries and choice selections during submission.
Special document notes
- CPSP FCPS-I Exemption: If applying on the basis of a CPSP exemption, upload the official exemption letter issued by CPSP on or before the closing date.
- Second Fellowship: Upload the CPSP congratulation/election letter or official CPSP email with your application. FCPS-II result must be announced on or before the closing date.
- Hard copies: Only selected candidates will submit hard copies of the application and documents at the time of arrival report to the CEO’s Office, PGMI, Phase-IV, Hayatabad, Peshawar (in person or via courier).
Selection & seats
- Seat allocation for both First & Second Fellowship will be conducted through PGMI’s official software. In the event of a technical issue, PGMI will announce an interview-based selection process on the website.
Domicile & identity rules
- Married female applicants: After marriage, the domicile of the husband will be considered valid for the female candidate. The permanent address on CNIC must reflect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; for married females, the husband’s CNIC permanent address must be KP.
Foreign applicants
- Apply through your respective government to HEC, Islamabad. If selected, an additional USD 600 per annum is payable (besides the application fee). As per the Executive Council decision, PGMI will pay the foreign national’s stipend.
General
- No TA/DA will be admissible.
- Zero Tolerance to Corruption.
