About the Role

The APS to Director (Assistant Private Secretary) at the National Forensics Agency (NFA), Ministry of Interior, is a front-line executive support position. As APS to Director, you will handle fast, accurate, and confidential administrative support—coordinating meetings, preparing briefs, drafting official correspondence, and ensuring timely follow-ups with internal directorates and external stakeholders. The APS to Director also streamlines office workflows so scientific and operational leaders can focus on core forensic work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Director’s calendar, coordinate meetings, and manage visitor protocols with discretion.
  • Draft, transcribe (including shorthand), and format official letters, minutes, and briefs.
  • Prepare presentations and data sheets in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; maintain organized digital and physical records.
  • Track incoming/outgoing files, ensure timely dispatch, and keep a prioritized action log for follow-ups.
  • Arrange travel, logistics, and meeting materials; ensure proper filing and document security.
  • Liaise across NFA directorates and with external agencies, maintaining a courteous, professional tone.

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree (16 years) from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Experience: 2+ years as PA/PS to a head of department in Government, Semi-Government, or Corporate organizations.
  • Skills: Excellent English, shorthand, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and minimum 40 W.P.M typing speed.
  • Preference: Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 30 years (general relaxation as per Federal Government rules).

Compensation & Benefits
