Job Overview
CCRI Multan is inviting applications for the position of Associate Research (PPS-07) under the PSDP project “Revival of Cotton in Pakistan: Innovation for a Sustainable Future”. This position is contractual until 30-06-2030 or the end of the project, whichever is earlier.
The Associate Research officer will assist in research planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting to support the project’s objectives of cotton sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and research related to cotton cultivation and fiber improvement.
- Collect, compile, and analyze data for research reports.
- Assist senior researchers in field trials, lab experiments, and project documentation.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to research protocols and quality standards.
- Support administrative tasks related to research projects.
- Coordinate with project staff for timely completion of research objectives.
Qualification & Experience
- Ph.D. in Plant Breeding & Genetics (PBG) OR M.Sc. (Hons) in PBG with 3 years relevant research experience.
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and report-writing skills.
- Experience with field and lab work related to agricultural research is preferred.
Age Limit
Maximum 40 years (age relaxation as per government rules may apply).

CCRI Multan, Old Shujabad Road, Multan, Punjab, 60000, Pakistan.
Contract & Salary
- Contractual position under PSDP project.
- Estimated Salary: PKR 100,000 – 140,000 per month.
