Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Minimum LLM from an HEC-recognized or reputable foreign university. A PhD in Law and/or Barrister-at-Law is preferred.
- Experience:
- With LLM: ≥ 156 months of relevant legal, advisory, litigation, and drafting experience in public or private sector.
- With PhD: ≥ 96 months of relevant experience.
- Plus: ≥ 60 months of senior-level experience.
- Standing: At least 8 years High Court standing; preferably 10 reported judgments independently argued.
- Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of competition law, the Competition Act, 2010, and related rules and jurisprudence.
- Skills: Strong analytical research, precise legal drafting, excellent written and oral communication, and command of English.
- Attributes: High integrity, professionalism, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Age Limit and Compensation
- Maximum age: 45 years.
- Compensation: Competitive, market-based, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
