Job Overview
CCRI Multan invites applications from qualified Pakistani nationals for the post of Computer Operator (PPS-05) on a contract basis under the PSDP project “Revival of Cotton in Pakistan: Innovation for a Sustainable Future”. This contractual position will continue until 30-06-2030 or the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
The Computer Operator will be responsible for managing daily IT operations, maintaining project databases, and supporting research and administrative teams with technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and software applications for project offices.
- Manage project-related databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for project activities.
- Provide technical support to project staff, including installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Ensure proper backup of critical project data and maintain security protocols.
- Coordinate with administrative staff for smooth digital workflow within the project.
- Assist in training staff on computer applications and systems as required.
Qualification & Experience
- MCS or MS in Computer Science with 3 years of relevant experience, or
- BS in Computer Science with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, database management, and project-related software.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines efficiently.
Age Limit
Maximum 40 years (age relaxation as per government rules may apply).

CCRI Multan, Old Shujabad Road, Multan, Punjab, 60000, Pakistan.
Contract & Salary
- This is a contractual position.
- Estimated Salary: PKR 80,000 – 110,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience according to PPS-05 scale).
