Position Overview
Position Title: Deputy Director IT Systems
Grade: EG-03
Location: Headquarters PCAA, Karachi
Number of Positions: One (01)
Employment Type: Contract – 3 years (extendable)
Monthly Salary: Rs. 308,309 (Negotiable) with 5% annual increment
Maximum Age Limit: 40 years (inclusive of all relaxations)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain system administration for Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
- Oversee virtualization, email systems, SAN/NAS storage, and networked computing infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) systems.
- Optimize IT operations, ensuring reliability and security of digital assets.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance performance, scalability, and system integrity across PCAA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a minimum second division from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in system administration across Microsoft and Linux platforms.
- Strong background in virtualization technologies, network management, and storage systems.
- Certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, Azure, or Amazon Web Services are highly preferred.
