Job Overview

CCRI Multan invites applications for the post of Driver (PPS-02) under the PSDP project “Revival of Cotton in Pakistan: Innovation for a Sustainable Future”. This is a contractual position until 30-06-2030 or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

The Driver will be responsible for safe and timely transportation of staff, equipment, and materials, as well as vehicle maintenance and compliance with road safety regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Requirements:

• Literate with a valid LTV/HTV Driving License.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience in a professional or government setting.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

• Excellent driving skills and familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Professional conduct, safety-conscious, and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport CCRI staff, project materials, and equipment.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained, fueled, and clean at all times.
• Follow road safety rules and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment when required.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Coordinate with project staff for timely vehicle availability and scheduling.

Age Limit

Maximum 40 years (age relaxation as per government rules may apply).

Job Location

CCRI Multan, Old Shujabad Road, Multan, Punjab, 60000, Pakistan.

Contract & Salary

• Contractual position under the PSDP project.
• Estimated Salary: PKR 40,000 – 55,000 per month.
