Key Responsibilities & Scope
As the Web Developer, you will be crucial in maintaining, developing, and enhancing the SRB’s digital infrastructure. Your role will encompass the full lifecycle of web development, ensuring our platforms are secure, efficient, and provide an optimal user experience for taxpayers and internal stakeholders.
- Development & Maintenance: Design, code, test, and implement new features and functionality for the SRB’s official website and internal web applications, ensuring high performance and availability.
- System Integration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate the web platforms with back-end systems, databases, and other government services.
- Optimization: Optimize existing web properties for speed, scalability, and enhanced user experience (UX) across all devices.
- Security & Compliance: Implement best-practice security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure the website adheres to accessibility and government IT standards.
- Collaboration: Participate in planning, documentation, and code reviews, maintaining clear communication with project managers and end-users.
- Troubleshooting: Provide timely and effective resolution of technical issues and bugs within the web environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Essential Educational Requirements
- A four-year Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field from a university or institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Note: Applicants with foreign education must submit an HEC Equivalence Certificate with their application.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of professional, relevant experience in web development, including experience with modern web technologies, content management systems (CMS), and database connectivity.
- Proven proficiency in front-end and back-end development languages (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Java, etc.).
Other Mandatory Requirements
- Age Limit: 21–30 years as of the date of advertisement.
- Domicile: Must possess Sindh Province Domicile along with a Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) in Form IX.
