Job Overview

CCRI Multan invites applications for the post of Field Assistant (PPS-05) under the PSDP project “Revival of Cotton in Pakistan: Innovation for a Sustainable Future”. This is a contractual position until 30-06-2030 or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

The Field Assistant will play a key role in supporting research and field operations, assisting researchers and scientists in implementing project activities, collecting data, and ensuring smooth functioning of field trials.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Requirements:

• Diploma of Field Assistant or equivalent qualification.
• F.Sc with 3 years relevant experience is also acceptable.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience in agriculture or research-based projects.
• Experience in data collection, reporting, and field maintenance will be preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

• Knowledge of cotton farming practices and crop management.
• Ability to collect, record, and manage field data accurately.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with research staff.
• Organized, proactive, and reliable in field operations.
• Physical capability to work in outdoor field conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist researchers in field data collection and management.
• Support implementation of experimental plots and field trials.
• Maintain field records, sample collection, and data reporting.
• Assist in monitoring crop health, pest control, and soil conditions.
• Coordinate with project staff for timely execution of field activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for project supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with project protocols and safety measures.

Age Limit

Maximum 35 years (age relaxation as per government rules may apply).

Job Location

CCRI Multan, Old Shujabad Road, Multan, Punjab, 60000, Pakistan.

Contract & Salary

• Contractual position under the PSDP project.
• Estimated Salary: PKR 50,000 – 70,000 per month.
