Role snapshot
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll support day-to-day finance and accounts operations, with emphasis on billing, invoicing, and NEPRA/power purchaser related matters typical to the power sector.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and post billing and invoicing entries.
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledgers.
- Compile supporting schedules for NEPRA and power purchaser interactions.
- Help prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports and audit support files.
- Maintain document control and ensure compliance with company policies.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance/Accounts/Commerce or related).
- 1+ year of relevant experience in Finance/Accounts.
- Power-sector experience (billing/invoicing & NEPRA/purchaser coordination) is a must.
Nice to have
- ERP/accounting software familiarity (e.g., SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks).
- Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
