Job Detail

Working under senior mentors, the Assistant Engineer Mechanical will:

  • Participate in design/technical reviews, converting requirements into production-ready documentation (BOMs, drawings, routings).
  • Support fabrication and assembly: coordinate with machine shop and assembly teams, verify tolerances and fits, and troubleshoot production non-conformities.
  • Assist testing & validation activities—test plans, instrumentation arrangements, data capture, and analysis—ensuring test records are complete and retrievable.
  • Contribute to quality management: prepare inspection plans, NCRs/CARs, witness inspections, and maintain calibration/traceability links.
  • Work with supply chain on technical evaluations of items, verification of CoCs, and first-article inspections.
  • Produce SOPs/work instructions and help implement safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.
  • Maintain meticulous engineering logs and version control of drawings and specifications.

Eligibility & Skills

  • Degree Requirement: BE / BSc Mechanical (or MS Mechanical) with CGPA ≥ 3.00.
  • Registrations: PEC registration required for engineering posts.
