In this role, you’ll operate and monitor industrial boilers within defined load and safety limits—logging parameters (steam pressure, temperature, feedwater, fuel consumption), verifying safety interlocks and alarms, and ensuring daily/weekly checks are recorded accurately. You’ll conduct feedwater and boiler water tests (hardness, pH, TDS) and maintain logs for blowdown cycles and chemical dosing to protect against scale and corrosion. Preventive maintenance will include burner inspections, flame safeguard checks, valve and sight-glass maintenance, soot blowing (where applicable), and coordination for annual statutory inspections.
Expect to collaborate with electrical/mechanical maintenance teams on interlocks, controls, and instrumentation; support root-cause analysis for trips or efficiency losses; and maintain spares lists (gaskets, injectors, nozzles, seals, instrumentation consumables). You will keep audit-ready records (shift logs, inspection sheets, checklists) and align your work with HSE and permit-to-work procedures.
Eligibility & Skills
- Mandatory Eligibility (as per advertisement):
- 1st Class Boiler Engineer Certificate with minimum 05 years relevant experience, OR
- 2nd Class Boiler Engineer Certificate with minimum 09 years relevant experience.
