Indian Actor Nadeem Khan Arrested Over Rape Allegations Involving Domestic Worker

Indian police have arrested actor Nadeem Khan, who appeared in the controversial anti-Pakistan film Dharinder, on allegations of rape filed by a domestic worker.

According to Indian media reports, a 41-year-old woman lodged a complaint stating that she has worked as a domestic helper in the homes of several actors and had been employed at Nadeem Khan’s residence for the past several years.

The complainant alleged that over time, a close relationship developed between her and the actor, during which he promised to marry her. She further claimed that, on the basis of this promise, the actor sexually assaulted her multiple times over the last 10 years.

In her statement recorded by police, the woman said that Nadeem Khan has now refused to marry her, prompting her to approach law enforcement authorities.

Indian media reported that police officials confirmed Nadeem Khan was arrested on January 22 following the complaint and is currently in police custody as investigations continue.

The case has drawn significant attention in Indian media, particularly due to the actor’s association with Dharinder, a film that previously faced criticism and bans in some Gulf countries over its anti-Pakistan content.
