Role Overview and Administrative Responsibilities
Additional Regional Directors manage designated regional divisions and field operations. Responsibilities encompass organizing workshop venues, overseeing final examinations, monitoring regional tutor networks, coordinating distance education delivery in remote territories, and enforcing university statutory policies.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must possess a 2nd Class Master's degree and at least 12 years of administrative experience in BPS-17 or above, including at least 4 years in BPS-18 or equivalent. Candidates must apply against their respective regional quota (Punjab or Gilgit-Baltistan). Maximum age is 45 years including relaxation.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
The positions are offered on a regular/contract basis under AIOU statutory service regulations.
