The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department invites applications from Punjab domiciled candidates for 2 project positions of Animal Attendant (PPS 02) at the Wildlife Hospital, Safari Zoo Lahore under reference IPL-10033.
Role Overview and Animal Handling Tasks
Animal Attendants work directly under veterinary doctors and zoo curators to ensure compassionate care for hospitalized wildlife. Duties include preparing animal diets, feeding sick and recovering captive wildlife, cleaning hospital cages and recovery enclosures, assisting veterinary doctors during medical check-ups and sample collection, and reporting behavioral changes to medical officers.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must have passed Middle school and possess physical fitness and courage in handling domestic and wild animals. Punjab domicile is compulsory. The maximum age limit is 25 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Induction is purely on a contract basis till the project completion date of June 30, 2027. Contract tenure may be extended subject to project continuation.
