Under the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training, CEASDC maintains specialized aquatic therapy pools designed for children with sensory processing challenges, motor dyspraxia, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Water-based physical therapy utilizes hydrodynamic properties to enhance core strength, motor coordination, and sensory regulation in a supportive environment.
Therapeutic Responsibilities and Poolside Practice
The Aquatic Physiotherapist designs and administers individualized hydrotherapy regimens for autistic children. Responsibilities include conducting physical functional assessments, delivering water-based neuromuscular re-education, improving gross motor planning and postural control, enforcing strict water safety protocols, and monitoring physical therapeutic progress.
