Role Overview and Research Responsibilities
The Assistant Director (Research, Data & Evaluation) spearheads empirical data collection, statistical surveys, and evaluation studies concerning persons with disabilities across Punjab. The role entails maintaining the provincial disability registry, designing quantitative assessment indicators, assessing accessibility standards, tracking rehabilitation program outcomes, and drafting policy briefs for government stakeholders.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must hold a 16-year degree in Statistics, Data Science, Sociology, or Public Health, supported by at least 2 years of practical experience in statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata) and survey fieldwork. Domicile of Punjab province is mandatory. Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) holding a valid disability certificate are actively encouraged to apply. The maximum age limit is 35 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Appointment will be on a contract basis initially for a period of One Year, extendable as per government policy and project requirements. Remuneration is a fixed lump sum of PKR 120,000 per month.
