Role Overview and Procurement Responsibilities
The Assistant Executive Officer - Procurement is entrusted with executing transparent public procurement processes for high-tech smart city infrastructure, surveillance systems, communication gear, and specialized ICT maintenance contracts. Core duties include drafting bidding documents, preparing tender notices, coordinating technical and financial bids evaluation, managing vendor communication, and ensuring rigorous adherence to PPRA Punjab rules and procurement guidelines.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must hold 16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or associated technical fields. Foreign degree holders must submit an HEC equivalence certificate. Part-time, honorary, apprentice, or internee experience will not be counted as professional experience. Result-awaiting applicants are not eligible.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
The appointment is on a contractual basis offering an all-inclusive consolidated monthly salary package of PKR 150,000. Contract extension is subject to organizational performance reviews and project requisites.
