Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Instruct autistic children in daily personal living activities, including grooming, personal hygiene, dining etiquette, and dressing.
- Design simulated real-world scenarios to teach shopping, money handling, social greetings, and public safety rules.
- Implement structured task analysis and visual schedules to help students master step-by-step routine tasks.
- Facilitate group social interaction exercises to enhance peer cooperation and conversational turn-taking.
- Record student progress across adaptive living milestones and provide feedback to parents for home practice.
