Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Biology Teacher delivers theoretical lectures and conducts laboratory practical sessions in biology and life sciences for secondary and higher secondary students. Key duties include demonstrating biological experiments, maintaining lab safety protocols, preparing students for BISE board exams, grading coursework, and supervising science exhibition projects.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Male applicants must hold 16 years of education (Master degree, BS 4-year, or BSc Hons) in Biology or Biological Sciences with minimum 2nd division or 2.50 CGPA from an HEC-recognized institution. Additional pedagogical degrees (M.Ed / B.Ed) and prior teaching experience in reputable schools are highly advantageous. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
All appointments are on a contract basis under approved Pay Scale OG-I. Positions carry transferability to other Daanish institutions across Punjab.
