As a specialized industrial development body under PIEDMC, BOM-MIE enforces architectural guidelines, structural safety standards, and environmental setbacks across large manufacturing plants, warehouses, and commercial blocks in Multan Industrial Estate Phase-II on Sheer Shah Road.
Operational Scope and Field Inspection Duties
The Building Inspector conducts on-site architectural audits of ongoing civil construction projects within the industrial estate. Responsibilities include vetting building plans against approved bylaws, reviewing structural drawings using AutoCAD, verifying setback lines and floor-area ratios, issuing notices for unauthorized construction deviations, and compiling technical inspection reports for the management committee.
