Role Overview & Laboratory Responsibilities
The Chemist will be stationed at the Gujranwala plant and will handle daily chemical quality control, formulation testing, and raw material validation. Core responsibilities include testing viscosity, solubility, surface tension, and accelerated shelf-life parameters of inks, resins, dyes, and pigments. The role also requires calibrating laboratory testing equipment, conducting batch compliance assays, recording chemical analytical data systematically, and collaborating with plant operations to optimize production efficiency and product durability.
Candidate Profile & Technical Competencies
Applicants must possess a BS or MSc degree in Chemistry from a recognized university with a strong academic GPA. Candidates must demonstrate 3 to 5 years of hands-on industrial laboratory experience within an inks, paints, resins, dyes, or allied chemical processing plant. Practical knowledge of testing apparatus, systematic data documentation, and chemical safety standards is essential.
