The Chief Medical Officer ensures medical governance, oversees employee clinical consultations, reviews hospitalization reimbursements, and monitors healthcare service delivery across empaneled hospitals and medical providers.
Key Duties and Administrative Oversight
The Chief Medical Officer attends PRCL head office daily for five hours to scrutinize medical reimbursement claims and hospital bills. Primary duties include conducting clinical consultations as envisaged in the corporate HR manual, performing pre-employment medical examinations of new recruits, issuing reference letters for panel specialist care, conducting random visits to empaneled healthcare facilities, and providing advisory input to executive administration on corporate medical welfare policies.
