Pakistan Navy invites applications from young, talented male citizens across the country to join as Civilian Apprentice (BPS-07) for Batch A-2027 within the PNCA Industrial and Technical Staff Lower Formation. This prestigious naval apprenticeship program provides world-class marine technical education, hands-on shipyard training, and progressive careers in Pakistan Navy establishments.

Institutional Background and Maritime Technical Infrastructure

As the guardian of Pakistan's maritime frontiers, the Pakistan Navy operates extensive dockyard facilities, marine engineering workshops, and specialized technical directorates primarily clustered around the naval base complexes in Karachi. The Pakistan Navy Civilian Authority (PNCA) recruits and trains technical apprentices to sustain, overhaul, and modernize naval surface ships, submarines, mechanical assemblies, and high-precision maritime defense equipment.

Operational Scope and Apprenticeship Training Structure

Selected apprentices undergo rigorous three-year technical training in specialized marine disciplines such as mechanical fabrication, marine engineering, electrical systems, radio electronics, and hull maintenance. Upon completion of the formal apprenticeship curriculum, trainees are absorbed into permanent technical roles under BPS-07, serving an obligatory eight-year service bond. Apprentices master marine craftsmanship, execute preventative maintenance on naval equipment, and work alongside seasoned naval engineers in strict adherence to naval quality and safety standards.
