The Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment & Research (NSICT&R) Lahore invites high-caliber clinical specialists for the position of Consultant Paediatric Oncology. Appointed under the IPS-9 Scale with a competitive salary of Rs. 1,200,000 per month, the consultant will direct clinical protocols for children with cancer at Punjab flagship cancer center.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The consultant leads paediatric oncology wards, designs chemotherapy regimens, oversees bone marrow evaluations, guides multi-disciplinary tumor boards, and coordinates patient care with surgical and radiation oncology teams.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must possess an MBBS degree recognized by PMDC, accompanied by FCPS, MD, American Board, or equivalent Level-III qualification in Paediatric Oncology with at least 3 years post-qualification clinical oncology experience. Age limit is 30 to 50 years.
Nature of Appointment and Pay Scale
The position is contract-based under the Institution Pay Scale IPS-9 with a fixed monthly package of Rs. 1,200,000.
