Role Overview and Operational Responsibilities
Data Entry Operators are tasked with inputting high volumes of student admission records, examination marks, assignment evaluations, and course registrations into the university’s central database management system. Responsibilities include verifying source documents, performing error audits, updating student contact particulars, and extracting statistical summaries for departmental reporting.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (at least 2nd Class) with a verified typing proficiency of at least 10,000 key depressions per hour. Practical competence in spreadsheets, database utilities, and word processing is essential. Candidates must be up to 30 years old (including 5 years general relaxation).
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Induction is made on a regular/contract basis under the AIOU service framework. Selected operators will be based at the central campus in Sector H-8, Islamabad.
