The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Receive and log deceased individuals from inpatient wards and emergency trauma rooms, tagging toe labels accurately.
- Operate and monitor refrigerated mortuary cabinets and temperature sensors, reporting mechanical cooling anomalies instantly.
- Assist forensic surgeons and medico-legal officers during post-mortem autopsies and external body examinations.
- Disinfect mortuary examination slabs, body trays, and cold storage chambers with hospital-grade biocidal disinfectants.
- Coordinate the dignified, orderly release of deceased remains to verified heirs and legal authorities with appropriate paperwork.
