The Institute of Public Health (IPH), Lahore, is inviting applications from medical graduates for 23 contractual vacancies of Demonstrator (BPS-17) under advertisement reference IPL-10149.
Role Overview and Instructional Duties
Demonstrators assist senior faculty in conducting laboratory practicals, tutorials, and field training sessions for postgraduate diploma and master’s degree programs. Duties include preparing laboratory specimens, demonstrating diagnostic tests in bacteriology, parasitology, and epidemiology, guiding student fieldwork, and assisting with public health survey data collection.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must hold an MBBS recognized by PM&DC, valid PM&DC registration, and completion of a one-year regular house job. Candidates with postgraduate coursework or specialization in public health disciplines will be preferred. Applicants must be domiciled in Punjab. Age limit is 22 to 50 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Appointments are on a contract basis under Punjab Contract Appointment Policy 2004, initially for a period of 2 years extendable based on performance.
