Position Overview & Institutional Context

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore invites applications from qualified professionals for the post of Deputy Controller of Examinations. UHS administers high-stakes medical, dental, allied health, and nursing examinations for tens of thousands of candidates annually across Punjab. The Deputy Controller will supervise exam integrity, computerization of tabulation, question bank security, and timely declaration of results.

Key Responsibilities & Core Deliverables

• Plan, schedule, and execute undergraduate and postgraduate medical examination cycles across regional centers.
• Enforce ironclad physical and digital security protocols for question paper compilation, printing, and distribution.
• Oversee automated optical mark recognition (OMR) scanning and digital result tabulation pipelines.
• Supervise examination monitoring staff, center superintendents, and flying squads to eradicate malpractices.
• Manage re-checking, result verification, transcript generation, and degree issuance processes.

Minimum Eligibility & Profile Criteria

• Qualification: Master's degree (minimum 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: At least 8 years of relevant administrative experience in an examination department of a recognized university or Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education.
• Skills: Sound knowledge of examination software, database security, and confidentiality regulations.
