Position Overview & Institutional Context
The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) invites applications from accomplished healthcare professionals for the senior role of Deputy Director (Operations) at its Head Office in Lahore. PHC is the autonomous statutory regulatory body established under the PHC Act 2010 to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare service delivery across public and private healthcare establishments in Punjab. The Deputy Director will lead core regulatory operations, licensing pipelines, and field coordination.
Key Responsibilities & Core Deliverables
- Plan and execute operational regulatory programs covering licensing, registration, and accreditation across healthcare facilities.
- Coordinate cross-departmental enforcement directives targeting quackery eradication and non-compliant clinics.
- Supervise zonal field offices and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of field inspection teams.
- Draft comprehensive analytical reports on provincial healthcare compliance for the Board of Commissioners and Executive Committee.
- Manage stakeholder engagements with public health departments, medical associations, and civil society bodies.
Minimum Eligibility & Profile Criteria
- Qualification: MBBS with Master's in Public Health (MPH) / Healthcare Administration (MHA) or 16-18 years degree in Management / Health Administration.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Skills: Sound knowledge of statutory administrative procedures, healthcare legal frameworks, and digital operations management.
