This initiative aims to expand specialist dermatological and venereology healthcare access in tertiary and secondary hospitals in Lahore under a Special Pay Package.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The incumbent will run busy outpatient dermatology clinics, diagnose and treat complex skin diseases, autoimmune dermatoses, cutaneous infections, and perform minor dermatosurgical procedures such as skin biopsies and cryotherapy. Responsibilities also include advising inpatient wards on systemic conditions with cutaneous manifestations.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must possess an MBBS degree recognized by PMDC together with postgraduate specialization (FCPS, MD, MCPS, or equivalent) in Dermatology. Candidates must possess practical proficiency in diagnostic clinical dermatology and uphold active registration with PMDC.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
The role is contractual under the Punjab Government Special Pay Package guidelines. Contract tenure is facility-specific and performance-evaluated on an ongoing basis.
