Niazi Medical & Dental College, Sargodha is seeking a qualified and forward-thinking medical educationist for the appointment of Director Medical Education. The position leads the Department of Medical Education (DME) to design, implement, and evaluate modern competency-based medical curricula across the institution.
Role Overview & Pedagogical Mandate
The Director Medical Education will lead medical pedagogical development, continuous faculty development workshops, integrated curriculum design, modular assessment frameworks, and student feedback mechanisms. The Director will ensure that assessment methods, simulated clinical learning, and teaching practices adhere to modern global medical education standards and PM&DC guidelines.
Candidate Profile & Academic Criteria
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in medical education (MHPE, MME, or PhD in Medical Education) recognized by PM&DC. Applicants must demonstrate substantial experience in medical education, curriculum planning, objective structured clinical examinations (OSCE/OSPE), and PM&DC-recognized medical teaching.
