The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore invites applications from qualified institutional leaders for the critical position of Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC). Operating under the direct guidance of the Vice Chancellor, the Director QEC is tasked with anchoring academic quality standards, institutional audit frameworks, and global university ranking performance across all constituent and affiliated medical institutions of UHS.
Key Responsibilities & Core Deliverables
- Administer comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) policies in accordance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines.
- Oversee preparation, review, and compliance auditing of departmental Self-Assessment Reports (SARs).
- Coordinate institutional data submissions for international higher education rankings (QS, Times Higher Education).
- Conduct periodic faculty evaluation surveys, student feedback cycles, and curriculum enhancement reviews.
- Interface with regulatory authorities including PM&DC, HEC, and international accreditation bodies.
- Organize specialized capacity-building workshops on institutional effectiveness and pedagogical quality for teaching faculty.
Minimum Eligibility & Profile Criteria
- Academic Qualification: PhD or Master's degree (18 years education) in Total Quality Management, Public Administration, Educational Governance, or allied disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of professional administrative or academic experience, with at least 5 years leading a recognized QEC or QA department.
- Competencies: Strong mastery of statistical analysis tools, academic auditing protocols, and institutional benchmarking.
