Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Operate project vehicles safely and responsibly in accordance with provincial traffic laws and motor vehicle regulations.
- Transport project officers, aquaculture specialists, and inspection materials between project sites and regional hatcheries.
- Conduct mandatory pre-trip inspections, monitoring engine oil, tire condition, coolant, and electrical lighting systems.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks documenting trip routes, passenger details, fuel receipts, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean, roadworthy, and ready for official project assignments.
