The MIS and Database Management Officer ensures reliable database availability, data security, and accurate management reporting.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Administer relational database management systems (RDBMS) ensuring data consistency, indexing, and scheduled automated backups.
- Maintain HMIS modules spanning outpatient registration, inpatient admissions, laboratory reporting, pharmacy billing, and electronic health records.
- Generate periodic clinical and administrative MIS reports, bed occupancy analytics, and revenue summaries for hospital management.
- Enforce healthcare data confidentiality, user role-based access permissions, and cyber threat protections.
- Troubleshoot local area network (LAN) connectivity, terminal workstations, and peripheral medical printing devices.
Eligibility Criteria & Candidate Qualifications
MSc Computer Science, BS CS, or equivalent with hands-on experience in SQL database administration and hospital software environments. Total 01 post.
