The Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) is hiring three (03) professionals for the position of Forensic Scientist (Photography) on a Special Pay Package in Lahore.
Forensic Imaging and Evidence Documentation Duties
The scientist executes advanced digital imaging, macro photography, and photographic evidence enhancement. Duties include:
- Capturing high-resolution forensic photographs of crime scenes, physical evidence, injuries, and pattern evidence.
- Operating specialized ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) photography equipment for latent stain and trace visualization.
- Performing calibrated digital image processing, 3D laser scanning, and photogrammetric measurements.
- Managing digital image asset management (DIAM) systems in compliance with chain of custody protocols.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Applicants must possess an MS/M.Phil. in Graphic Design or Photography with 3 years of forensic lab experience, OR an MFA in Graphic Design with 5 years of forensic lab experience. Age: 28 to 35 years. Punjab Domicile.
Salary and Terms
Remuneration is Rs. 325,000/- per month + 10% annual increase (half salary during training) on a 3-year renewable contract.
