The Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) invites online applications for three (03) posts of Forensic Scientist (Polygraph) on a Special Pay Package at PFSA Lahore.
Psychophysiological Detection and Evaluation Scope
The Forensic Scientist conducts computerized polygraph examinations in major criminal investigations. Duties include:
- Formulating validated question formats (Utah Zone Comparison, Concealed Information Test).
- Administering polygraph tests measuring respiration, electrodermal response, blood volume, and pulse rate.
- Evaluating polygraph chart recordings using validated numerical scoring algorithms.
- Documenting comprehensive forensic psychophysiological assessment reports.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Candidates must hold an MS/M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, or Neuropsychology from an HEC-recognized university, coupled with at least three (03) years of relevant experience in an accredited forensic laboratory. Age: 28 to 35 years. Domicile: Punjab Province.
Salary and Appointment Terms
The post offers Rs. 325,000/- per month + 10% annual increase (half salary during training) on a 3-year renewable contract.
