Islamabad Club seeks a seasoned audit executive for the independent position of Head of Internal Audit, reporting functionally to the Finance & Audit Committee of the Board.
Governance Mandate and Assurance Function
The internal audit function provides objective assurance on risk management, governance protocols, and internal financial controls across all club operations. The department oversees compliance with statutory regulations, procurement standards, and operational guidelines across extensive commercial and hospitality facilities.
Professional Scope and Operational Duties
The Head of Internal Audit develops and executes the annual risk-based audit plan approved by the Board. Core responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of internal control systems, conducting surprise inspections and inventory verifications, reviewing vendor contracts and procurement compliance, investigating financial anomalies, coordinating with external auditors, and monitoring the implementation of management action plans in accordance with IIA standards.
