Operational Context and Landfill Oversight
The municipal disposal site receives all daily solid waste generated within Sialkot city. The In-Charge Dumpsite manages the weighbridge, waste unloading zones, earth-covering operations, and leachate management protocols.
Key Duties and Site Management
The In-Charge Dumpsite supervises the orderly dumping, spreading, and mechanical compaction of incoming waste consignments. Responsibilities include recording vehicular tare and gross weights at the weighbridge, managing heavy machinery (bulldozers, excavators), directing drainage channels to prevent water accumulation, and maintaining fire-prevention safety protocols at the disposal facility.
