The Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) is hiring two (02) professionals for the post of Junior Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) on a Special Pay Package at PFSA Lahore.
Field Evidence Collection and Crime Scene Duties
The Junior Scientist provides tactical evidence processing on crime scenes and mobile forensic units. Duties include:
- Assisting in physical evidence search, latent print recovery, and biological fluid swabbing at crime scenes.
- Operating photographic and alternate light source equipment for evidence documentation.
- Packaging, labeling, and sealing physical evidence to maintain unbroken chain of custody.
- Maintaining mobile forensic crime scene vehicle equipment and inventory.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Open to male candidates holding an M.Sc., BS, or B.Sc. (Hons.) in science disciplines or B.Sc. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university. Age: 23 to 35 years. Punjab Domicile.
Salary and Terms
Special Pay Package of Rs. 200,000/- per month + 10% annual increment (half salary during training) on a 3-year contract.
