The Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA) is hiring for the position of Junior Forensic Scientist (Toxicology) on a Special Pay Package in Lahore.
Laboratory Operations and Analytical Support
The Junior Scientist assists in analytical toxicology workflows. Duties include:
- Preparing biological samples, visceral specimens, and chemical reagents for extraction.
- Conducting solid-phase and liquid-liquid extractions for drug and poison screening.
- Operating and maintaining analytical instruments (UV-Vis, GC, HPLC).
- Assisting senior toxicologists in compiling quantitative analytical data.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
Applicants must hold an MS/M.Phil. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, or Forensic Science from an HEC-recognized university. Age: 23 to 35 years. Punjab Domicile.
Salary and Terms
Special Pay Package of Rs. 200,000/- per month + 10% annual increase (half salary during training) on a 3-year contract.
