The daily clinical, technical, or administrative responsibilities for this role include:
- Administer enterprise server environments, virtualization clusters, storage area networks (SAN), and automated disaster recovery systems.
- Implement advanced network security protocols, next-generation firewall policies, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability patching.
- Manage enterprise directory services, user identity access controls, and hospital-wide data backup routines.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for core clinical database servers, PACS imaging repositories, and hospital management software modules.
- Provide technical supervision for hardware rack maintenance, server room cooling, and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) infrastructure.
