The manufacturing unit features heavy continuous mechanical systems including high-speed centrifuges, vertical separators, positive displacement pumps, steam boilers, and automated bottling lines. The Mechanical Engineer ensures continuous mechanical integrity, vibration analysis, proactive preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting of all processing machinery.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Supervise maintenance, overhaul, and precision alignment of 2-phase and 3-phase decanters and centrifugal separators.
- Execute predictive and preventative maintenance schedules for steam boilers, piping networks, heat exchangers, and air compressors.
- Diagnose mechanical failures, bearing wear, hydraulic anomalies, and pump cavitation to minimize downtime.
- Manage mechanical spare parts inventory, overhaul kits, and specialized maintenance tooling.
- Ensure plant operations strictly adhere to industrial safety, pressure vessel codes, and environmental safety regulations.
