Industrial Overview and Technical Challenges
As Pakistan’s premier state enterprise in the minerals sector, PMDC maintains heavy material-handling equipment, crushing plants, conveyor systems, ventilation systems, and transport fleets across rugged operational locations. The Maintenance Lead ensures planned asset life-cycle management and adherence to statutory industrial safety standards.
Operational Responsibilities and Supervisory Oversight
The Maintenance Lead plans, coordinates, and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance across all mechanical and electrical installations. Responsibilities include monitoring equipment availability, conducting root-cause failure analyses, optimizing spare parts inventories, preparing maintenance inspection schedules, managing contractor activities, and implementing ISO-certified quality and environmental safety procedures.
