National Rural Support Programme - Urban Poverty Alleviation Programme (NRSP-UPAP) Islamic Microfinance is inviting applications from energetic and ambitious professionals across Pakistan for the position of Management Trainee to support branch operations and poverty alleviation initiatives in major urban and rural centers.
Role Overview and Operational Responsibilities
Management Trainees undergo structured on-the-job training across community outreach, Islamic microfinance credit assessment, sharia-compliant portfolio management, and branch administrative workflows. Appointees assist branch managers in beneficiary appraisal, field verification, loan disbursement supervision, repayment recovery cycles, and financial record keeping while adhering to microfinance operational guidelines.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must possess a Master degree or 16-year equivalent education in relevant disciplines including Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Banking, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Agriculture, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Environmental Science. Prior work experience is not mandatory as fresh candidates showing high dedication and integrity will be preferred. Candidates with third division in their final terminal degree, awaiting results, or currently pursuing studies are not eligible. The upper age boundary is 30 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
Selected candidates will initially serve an internship training tenure with a monthly stipend of PKR 64,000. Upon successful completion of the internship phase and satisfactory performance evaluation, compensation will be increased by PKR 10,000 to 15,000 alongside medical benefits, insurance coverage, provident fund, and EOBI pension registration.
