Quaid-e-Azam Thermal Power (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer for the post of Manager Mechanical stationed at its 1180MW RLNG Combined Cycle Power Plant at Bhikki, District Sheikhupura under reference IPL-10223.
Role Overview and Plant Operations Duties
The Manager Mechanical oversees mechanical maintenance and operational reliability of heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), condenser cooling water networks, pumps, and auxiliary piping systems. The position manages major overhaul turnarounds, root cause failure analyses (RCFA), vibration monitoring, and spare parts inventory.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Candidates must hold a BS (Mechanical) degree with active PEC registration, while an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of verified power generation experience, specifically on combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plants, is mandatory.
