Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-standard mathematics instruction to secondary and higher secondary students. Duties include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom assessments, preparing students for board examinations, fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and participating actively in co-curricular and student mentoring programs.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Male candidates must possess 16 years of education (Master degree, BS, BSc Hons) in Mathematics with at least 2nd division or a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.0 from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates holding professional pedagogical qualifications such as M.Ed or B.Ed, teaching experience in reputed English-medium institutions, and strong English communication skills will be given preference. The upper age limit is 45 years.
Nature of Appointment and Terms
The appointment is purely contract-based under Pay Scale OG-I. Selected candidates are liable to be posted/transferred to any Daanish or Centre of Excellence School across Punjab.
