Institutional Context & Operational Scope
The Assistant Superintendent provides frontline technical support and continuous monitoring for the mission-critical systems powering the Lahore Data Center. The role involves shift-based surveillance of electrical distribution, automatic transfer switches, battery banks, fire suppression systems, and physical security apparatus.
Core Responsibilities & Work Functions
The daily operational scope and functional deliverables for this role include:
- Conduct routine physical inspections and parameter logging across UPS systems, power panels, transformers, and standby generators.
- Execute first-level maintenance and troubleshooting for LT & ATS switchgear panels and circuit breakers.
- Monitor precision air-conditioning (PAC), chiller units, and humidity controls to maintain optimal data hall standards.
- Operate DCIM sensor telemetry and fire alarm/VESDA detection systems, responding immediately to automated alerts.
- Provide 24/7 shift-based operational coverage for mission-critical infrastructure maintenance.
Eligibility Criteria & Candidate Qualifications
Applicants must possess a recognized DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of post-qualification technical experience. Age limit is up to 30 years.
