ISMO is hiring an experienced Network Administrator on a contract basis in Islamabad under advertisement reference PID(I)2754/26.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
The Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining the resilience, capacity, and security of corporate and operational power market networks. Duties include configuring enterprise routers, multilayer switches, VPN concentrators, and next-generation firewalls; monitoring network traffic for bottlenecks and intrusions; maintaining redundant WAN links; and ensuring high-bandwidth communications between market control centers and grid participants.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility Nuances
Applicants must hold a 4-year degree in CS, IT, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunications from an HEC-recognized university. Certification in CCNA or CCNP Routing & Switching / Security is highly preferred, alongside at least 5 years of relevant networking experience in enterprise environments. Upper age limit is 35 years.
